The product you are selling is normally free  (there are some cases where you have to buy the product first, there are a few reasons for this either they are a money grabbing business or its due to the fact they want you to get to know the product and have a passion for selling the product)

2. Due to the win-win nature it is in the companys best interest to provide you with as many resources as possible. The company is gaining a free army of sales people, which they are not paying for. They will have to give you a commission on sales of product, but they are not paying you a wage. Most on the ball companies will therefore offer resources such as banners, emails, articles to help promote the product. This helps you as the affiliate marketer to sell the product and make more commission, and it helps the company to make more overall sales.

3. You wont have to take part in any of the administration or ‘paperwork’ with collecting money form the sales, or any discrepancies with product services etc. As you are purely the middle man the company has to deal with collecting the money and any issues or questions with that product.  You will be introducing the customer to the company / vendor and then the vendor will take over.

4. Commissions can be quite high. Some affiliate programs offer between 50 and 75% or more of the profits. If you look for the top niches on the internet, for why a person is there then these are the products where you will make the most commission.

5. The flexibility surrounding affiliate marketing attracts most of us there in the first place. You can do as much or as little as you want, and you will earn in accordance to the effort you put in like with most things!) You are not on a 9-5 job, you are doing something when you feel like doing it.  The flexibility of what you want to sell is also paramount in conducting affiliate marketing You can choose your passion and what you want to talk about as your product, which will always make it easier to sell to a client.

6. The cash income that you derive is a passive income. Once you have set up a website, or a format of introducing the customer to the vendor then it is on automatic pilot. You can then make sales whilst you sleep, or whilst you are on holiday! Passive income is the way to go!

7. There is so much information on the internet about how to do affiliate marketing that it is free education. There is also an awful lot of support and assistance if required.  Again a win-win situation.
